BLOODBOUND wants to apoligize to both the HUNGARIAN FANS and the METAL FEST staff for not making it to the festival. The bus broke down several times on our journey from METAL FEST in Pilzen to Hungary so it was impossible for us to make it to the festival. Cover artwork and tracklisting of BLOOBOUND´s new album "Unholy Cross" have been unveiled now. The forth effort from Sweden´s premiere power metallers will be released on March 18th.

The band comments: "The album cover made by Mark Wilkinson (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest etc) is very symbolic for the band as it symbolizes the resurrection of bloodbound. It shows our monster mascot "Nossen" rising from the dead. We as a band feel we're resurrected as well, as we now have a stable line up and we all like working together as a band unit. Unholy Cross was a fun album to write and record and musically we wanted to go back and create the magic from the Nosferatu album but with an updated 2011 production."

BLOODBOUND have inked a deal with Germany's AFM Records. The band's fourth album, "Unholy Cross", will be released in March.

bloodbound are pleased to announce the addition of bassist ANDERS BROMAN to their ranks!

The band comments:
“We’re very excited to have ANDERS in the band and we are looking forward to working with him. He is adding his own flavor to the band as well as being a very powerfull player and live performer"

Former bass player JOHAN SOHLBERG decided to leave the band and focus on his career and family. The break-up was on good terms.

The band comments:
"We are sad to see JOHAN leave the band, he has been a great member of our family and a strong character always keeping the spirit high. We wish him the best of luck in the future with his career and family"

bloodbound has entered Studio Abyss/Black Lounge to mix the new album with producer Jonas Kjellgren (Sonic Syndicate, Scar Symmetry). The new album will be a mix between the old and new bloodbound, returning to a more epic feel yet with a modern heavy sound. 11 songs have been recorded and the release date will be around feb/march 2011.

The website has been down for a few days because we have a new webhost, but we are now back up and running again!

Our good friend Paul Dianno (ex. Iron Maiden) will once again join bloodbound on stage and perform a few Iron Maiden classics at the Rockweekend festival on july 8.

Bloodbound's new lead singer is 27 year old Patrik "Pata" Johansson (Dawn Of Silence) from Finspång, Sweden! Patrik has been a good friend to the band for a while, and with a great voice sounding like a mix between Bruce Dickinson and Tobias Sammet he will fit perfectly into the band.

We want to give him a warm welcome, and we're looking forward to work with him.

bloodbound has decided to part ways with lead vocalist Urban Breed. Due to musical and personal differances the band has decided to move on with a new lead vocalist. We wish Urban the best of luck in the future and thank him for his time in the band.

The new lead vocalist will be announced on monday the 19th of april!
